Description
So this is a project that actually started in April of last year (2012). I was getting it read for Tekkoshocon's art show, but unfortunately he wasn't finished in time. I had rushed certain things and in general, wasn't satisfied. He hung out on my shelf/couch until about a week before this Tekko. I still didn't finish him in time, but managed to fix the body errors. Then, a week ago right before Acen I said, "This is getting finished!" and it did.
Him and Hitomoshi(Litwick: [link] were entered into the Acen artshow and received First Place and 1st Runner up respectively. It was a huge honor to receive my first blue ribbon, let alone two.
I'm really happy with how he came out, he just looks so happy!
He stands 19 inches from base to top of bulb and weighs about 9lbs. The bulb wasn't coming out how I wanted, so I ended up making individual leaf segments and then attached and molded them together. The eyes are applique, hand sewn, embroidered mouth.
Thanks for looking and I hope you like him Now to decide on the next giant plush to make.
